CFJL-FM Winnipeg gets a new frequency

CFJL-FM 100.7 has received permission to leave it's "cursed" frequency and move all the way to 100.5 FM. There have been several attempts to make 100.7 work here in the 'Peg with no success. Well if they do move and it doesn't work we will know it was the various formats that were cursed and not the frequency.

Thanks for mentioning that Shawn. Yep sometimes its not the frequency but the programming format of the station itself. By the way Shawn do you do any FM Dxing in the summer months? I know you are a longtime AM broadcast band dxer. If so any good dx catches the summer of 2014 for you on FM ??

Yes I do FM DX but this year has been bleak to say the least. I did have one good opening:

92.9 KAFF-FM Flagstaff AZ 07/06 1125 RDS came on
103.7 KODS Carnelian Bay CA 07/06 1133 FIRST EVER CALIFORNIA FM STATION State #36
104.5 KDOT Reno NV 07/06 1143
105.7 KOZZ-FM Reno NV 07/06 1138 FIRST EVER NEVADA FM STATION State #37
Other than that is was nothing. Used to TV DX when stuff was analog too.
