Over the last couple of weeks a couple of old voices have returned to the Edmonton airwaves. One wonders who will be next? Mike Bell is back hawking for his friend Bill Comrie at the Brick and Randy Kilburn is back on the weekends, at least, on CHED. I guess it is true "Radio Guys never retire, they just take a break." I am happy to hear both, Randy can read and pronounce so a welcome addtion to the Ched Newsroom, while Michael brings back memories of the days when the Brick moved from 109 Street to the 101 Street location. It also brings back memories of sitting in the copy room with Mike discussing all things Brick and Stage West.

Welcome Back guys! Anybody else waiting in the wings?

Also heard these days: Garry Melnyk.

Back in the mid-1970s, Melnyk was at CIOK St. Paul and later at CHQR in Calgary.

The question for him is, where was he hiding in between?
