I've heard lots of talk about Corus blowing up CFMI or CFOX. But, judging by these numbers, it might well be both. And soon.

Why are CFOX & CFMI doing so bad these days? They used to be iconic Vancouver stations!

Especially when you compare them to the two iconic Seattle rock stations. Heritage Rocker KISW 99.9 is #1 in the market and Classic Rock KZOK is #6 according to the Seattle PPM's released yesterday.

if you add CFOX and Rock 101 together... you get a pretty big share...

David Bray weighs in, with some numbers not publicly available from the BBM:

Vancouver: CKNW holds the #1 spot for A12+ with a 11.5% share of hours tuned (down from 11.6% last time out). Taking the top spot for F25-54 was perennial office station favourite 103.5QM-FM, posting a 14.3% share (up from 12.5%). The Beat vaults into the lead with M25-54 listeners, delivering an 11.1% share (up from 9.9%). The Beat tops the list for M18-34 with 19.2% share of hours tuned (up from 18.0%) followed by the FOX with 11.0% (down from 13.4%). When it comes to Females 18-34, the Beat also takes top spot with a 17.0% share (up from 14.6%).
