In the late 80s and early 90s, Tacoma's 106.1 was Country KRPM or K-106. Here's some 1990 KRPM jingles. Today the station is Top 40 Kiss 106 (KBKS)

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
