Some 1960's sounds from Vancouver's CKLG .. (bits and pieces from a few different jingle packages)

CKLG in the 1960's
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Yes .. late 1960's .. from the first true Darke Series of jingles (Johnny Mann Singers) that CKLG used .. these were used until 1971 when they switched to the Drake Series II package.

Cuts 1 and 3 were from an acapella Drake soundalike package (1967 - 1968)

Cuts 2 and 4 were from the PAMS Happy Difference package .. these were the first jingles used on CKLG when it went Top 40 in 1964.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

OK, thanks. It just 'sounded' very 70-ish to me.

They were just slightly ahead of their time!
