Seattle's Norm Gregory Passes

Postby jon » Sat Sep 22, 2018 9:32 pm

Word just in that Norm Gregory passed away earlier today.

Although mainly known for his decades at KJR AM & FM, he also worked at KOMO, KNEW/KJRB Spokane and KPUG Bellingham.

I'm surprised as it seems like just a few months back that I last looked at his web site and it had current blogs on it. Now it, at least for me, displays momentarily then shows me a page with my IP address on it.

15 years ago, near the end of his last KJR-FM air shift, he was running a great KJR-AM memory board. Long before Facebook arrived on the scene. Even before the late Lan Roberts' OFC became well known.

From Norm's brother Brian: ‪I’m sorry to report, my brother Norm died this morning from complications from Diabetes and a punctured lung due a recent fall. He went peacefully after being unconscious for the last day or so.‬
