CKNW Feed on 1570?

Tuesday night was an interesting one. Killer signal from CFRW Winnipeg on 1290, and other stations from Manitoba coming in very well, too.

I don't normally notice great reception from the East. Normally, it is from the SW or South.

But one I couldn't figure out was Sports play-by-play on 1570, ID'ing like Oilers stations do "from CHED". Only this was "on CKNW". Who carries CKNW play-by-play on 1570?

jon - the only 1570 I can find in my databases is:

CKMW Morden MB 10 kW day & night

you mentioned how well the MB stations were coming in so I'm guessing this is what you heard

...the last 2 days at sunset while picking up my wife, I've been checking out 590, 600 & 610 on the truck radio. KUGN 590 Eugene has been in strong and CKYL 610 Peace River just smokes in here!

I'd go with sky's answer. CKMW is the only 1570 left in Western Canada, Nanaimo and Taber have both moved to FM.

Also, CKNW doesn't have any play by play anymore.

Not to be glib, but does CKNW have any play by play left?
I believe they've "managed" to have it all go elsewhere, at least
for now. Sorry, RF already mentioned this.
