Postby Steve Sanderson » Wed Sep 08, 2010 4:52 pm

From my friends at hollywoodmemoir.com

* Glenn Shadix was NOT the ghost from Beetlejuice. He was the interior designer. Glenn Shadix was Jerry's landlord from Seinfeld.

Glenn Shadix (April 15, 1952 – September 7, 2010) was an American actor, known for his role as “Otho” in Tim Burton's horror/comedy film Beetlejuice.

Death of Glenn Shadix
On September 7, 2010, Shadix accidentally fell at his condo in Birmingham, Alabama and died of blunt force trauma to his head. Shadix had mobility problems and was in a wheelchair.

You really should post a picture too. (Just so we won't have to Google the guy to find out who he was)

Definitely one of those actors where you say "didn't I see him in..."

He was also the spineless aid to the bad guy(s) in Demolition Man. At the end of the movie, Denis Leary says he looks like a couch, which was pretty amusing to me when I was 12.

I also remember him from a few episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, where he played the giant Typhon, who was depicted in Shadix's portrayal as kind of a Ralph Kramden-esque character.
