Standard Records was a long-time (1931 - 1987) Seattle mom and pop retaiI record store located in the Roosevelt district at 1028 N.E. 65th Sreet.
Coincidentally, in 1987, it became the 20- plus year home of JNS Phonograph; owned and operated by Jim Goff, it claimed to be the only business on the West Coast devoted to repairing electric-powered phonographs and selling needles and record-cleaning supplies.

Sadly, Jim closed up for good this past summer but I understand there is a similar business just down the street.

Iconic Records is a Denver recording company.
