Its called "cloud seeding" ... reduces the size of hail by injecting silver iodide into the most water-laden sections of a storm.

Here's a story for the layman from the CBC done last summer ... http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/s ... lanes.html

Amazing how many of the comments on that CBC article are from Chemtrail Fans.

Yeah well, I never waste my time reading comments about chemtrails because they are invariably written by nut cases who are stunningly ignorant of aviation.

It is exceptionally rare that I read any comment from a CBC listener on their website ... reminds me too much of my shortwave listening days listening to letters to Radio Moscow, or to Radio Havanna Cuba with Arnie Corro as they describe the wonderful life in a socialist society.

The sole exception is material by Rex Murphy, whom I admire greatly.

You found me out Slowhand .... please don't divulge the secret identity of Rex Murphy here on Radiowest.

You may be slow of hand .... perhaps due to transmission impediments in portions of the nervous system which communicates with muscles associated with the meta-carpals and phalanges, but you're obviously not lacking in mental acumen.

Maybe a successful future in criminal investigation is coming your way. You could buy a very stylish Sherlock Holmes style Deerstocker hat, and an over-sized magnifying glass to assist with finding clues and deducing things.
