Edmonton's First Snowfall is a Record

In a City where Weather is the most frequent component of Small Talk, today's record-breaking snowfall is a hot topic.

No, we didn't have a huge amount of Snow overnight and this morning. But it is the first Snow of the season to hit the downtown airport where our oldest weather record books are kept.

The previous record for latest first snowfall was November 6th in 1921 and 1963.
