Just a short rant this morning on the Olympics. I have watched alot and found the
games great on tv with lots of choice on the various channels.

One criticizm is the Vancouver Sun - which must fear losing what reputation it has and continues to follow every complaint and glitch of the 16 day event.

For two weeks could we revel in the glory of Canada (the world's best kept secret).

In a short time it will be over, Tom Brokaw, our new PR guy will leave and we can get back to spring gardening and prepare for summer swimming.

Oh man, JB - you said it better than anyone else.

I was blessed enough to live for an extended period in another Country and travel extensively - and EVERY time I came home, I felt like kissing the ground.

"Nasty, Brutish, and SHORT..." is how life is for about 90% of the people on this little blue rock and we are so lucky to have this magnificent Country to call home.
