CALLS FOR APPLICATIONS
The CRTC has received applications for new commercial stations in WINNIPEG, EDMONTON, RED DEER, and DRUMHELLER. Other interested parties wishing to obtain radio licenses in these cities are invited to submit applications.

POSTPONED HEARING
The CRTC has announced the public hearing scheduled for December 3, 2007 in Gatineau,QC to deal with numerous applications from Ottawa and Gatineau (listed in last months Canadian Radio News) has been postponed due to frequency availability issues. A new "call for applications" has been issued with a January 28, 2008 deadline.
