The above technical applications from CTV Globe Media and Harvard for Edmonton need some clarification. 95.7 is the only frequency left in the Edmonton area that will be able to facilitate a new full powered FM station (ie-100,000 watts). The unsuccessful applicant will be forced to find an alternative frequency sandwiched in-between existing FM stations in Edmonton and will be operating with a greatly reduced power output.
