Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Chilliwack has had a lot of opening acts over the years. On July 28, the band will cap off an afternoon baseball game by the Victoria HarbourCats. A few local bands will do short sets. Chilliwack then takes the stage at 7pm for a show that, on all likelihood, will include I Believe.

Bill Henderson once told me of a time when they were their OWN OPENING ACT.
He said they had been on a very long tour and found themselves in Thunder Bay.
Bored, they went to the local hardware store and bought electrician's tape, etc. and wrapped themselves in it.
They went out to perform as DAGGERMOUTH... a Punk Rock Band... for their own opening act !

Great anecdote, Picture.

I'll have to take binoculars to see if any of the three Chilliwack opening acts (Electric Sex Panther, OK Charlie and Lost Boys) are sporting duct tape, wigs or other hints of a disguise. T'would be evidence that perhaps Bill Henderson & Co. are once again opening their own show incognito.
