In a memo to Corus Vancouver staff this morning, new PD Ronnie Stanton tells staff that Jake is hanging up his Rock 101 headphones later this summer after a 17 year run. The station looks forward to
celebrating Jake's incredible run at Rock 101 and he will be sent off in style.

I think Nat and Drew will end up in the TD Tower. More likely on CFOX if it becomes Fresh FM or how about NW? It's pretty much agreed in the tower and on the street that part of the rebuilding
of NW has to include getting rid of Till.

As forRock 101, I'm going to go with Larry and Willy filling Jake's chair. Wasn't it current Corus head guy Chris Pandoff who initially brought them to CFOX 20+ years ago?

Me thinks Larry and Willy will be back at Corus sooner than later. In my humble opinion they are the obvious choice regardless of a slight change in Brand.As for Jake,I wish him all the best as he is a top notch broadcaster who will resurface quick.

FWIW,,, When I heard jake first on CFMI at his start (weekends as I recall? He Was AWESOME! very relatable and fun to listen to. I listen now on a semi regular basis as he is still good, but I think he's lost some of what he had. I'd like to hear him in a different format maybe. Ekford? yeah he's okay. but come on... not a fit for CFMI mornings I don't think. Still dig Robin and Dean though.
