All well and good for CFAX nighttimes.

But what’s with the Canadian Press news at 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday?

Just like the graveyard shifts, local Victoria news—probably pre-recorded—followed Roger Ward’s national CP broadcast today. Is this the new normal at 1070?

Radio keeps stirring the pot. Unfortunately, the ingredients include: water trucked in from Flint, Michigan, and body parts of road kill picked up along the highway.
There have been no Merlinesque powers conjured up or applied. There is no wizardry generated from Programming or the Creative departments. For years, it has all been strictly "Ooga-Booga".

I though C2C was supposed to start on Roundhouse Radio on December 25th?

It's been two weeks and still no sign of it on the RHR schedule.

Is Bell maybe reconsidering this and going to put it on 1410 or 1040 where people might actually be able to hear it?

C2C got it's run in Vancouver started on 1410 in the mid 1990s when CFUN was Talk With Attitude.

Bell already makes money by running its own syndicated programming almost 24/7 on 1410 and off-peak on 1040. Running CTC on 1410 rather than 98.3 turns three revenue streams into two. Ratings in regards to CTC are irrelevant.
