Today's Can-Con 45 is from 1969 .. an early hit from Andy Kim ... and his version of The Ronettes' classic ... "Baby, I Love You" ...

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Andy Kim is yet another deserving inductee for the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame who has long been cooling his heels.

As I’ve noted elsewhere, Winnipeg-based music historian John Einarson rattled cages with an open letter in late March decrying the vast number of venerable domestic artists that are continually bypassed for newer acts.

No knock on The Barenaked Ladies who were the most recent inductee. But they’re newbies compared to Andy, Lighthouse, The Poppy Family (Terry and Susan Jacks) and the late Bobby Curtola...to name just a few on Einarson’s list of The Snubbed.
