Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

A disappointing first showing for The Breeze. In the last year or so, I was hearing LG 104.3 in just about every business or office I went into. It seems all those dials went to QM-FM for Christmas music and stayed there. I have yet to hear The Breeze in any location that used to play LG 104.3. All I'm hearing is QM or JR-FM.

Will it be CFMI that will outrate mothership CKNW and get them into single digit numbers in the Spring ratings period?

The Canucks certainly don't seem to be helping to get Sportsnet 650 any traction. TSN 1040 still rules the world of sports and they have no PBP. CISL in it's worst days had better numbers than SN.

It would be interesting to see the 25-54 numbers for Vancouver.

Not surprising: People want Christmas music at Christmas time.

Somewhat surprising: 25-54 numbers actually favour Sportsnet in the Sports demo. That has to be a major concern for TSN and there bloated staff.

Very surprising: Ross Winters is still programming radio. The PEAK surely is on death watch. So sad. That audience doesn’t want a small rotation. They want variety.

As brutal as the CBC’s programming has become in every way, people obviously would rather not hear spots.

Hockey play-by-play will young-down a sports audience a tad.

It seems Corus owns this rock market in this survey. I would like to have a classic hits station in this market but there's no new frequencies available with loss of LG 104.3. It's unlikely with the current market demos another station in Vancouver market will try to take on this banner.

Just imagine how even lower the 1410 listenership would be if Coast To Coast aired elsewhere?

The 1410 ratings, of course, don’t count the legions of ET wannabe abductors, Sasquatches and angelic or demonic entities tuning in each night to a George Noory or weekend hosts.

CTC pulls in a 1.6 12+, so it's likely the top rated slot on the station. However, overall listenership is so low at that time that it probably has next to no effect on the overall numbers.

There is still too much loser sports shows on 1410 and they are bastardizing the format. There should be no sports on Bloomberg and they should probably have some local talk shows as well as carrying the eastern shows live. Then they would have a fair comparison. Right now its just overflow for 1040 who hover in the 1.5-2 range so what do you expect.
